Exam & Preparation
Most common question asked by students: Can I pass the exam without taking practical classes? Yes, it sounds possible. But you know very well this is a practical subject, and you should not give the exam only by reading RSCIT books. Because of that, you will have knowledge, but when you face practicals, you will not be able to do anything. So, it is highly recommended to join practical classes for everyone.
After taking 3 months of practical classes, you will be eligible for exams. Every aspirant has to solve at least 6 assignments to be eligible for the exam, and the exam will be of 70 marks. It means you will get 30 marks from your practical knowledge. If you solve assignments while learning practically, you need to complete 15 assignments. Every assignment contains 2 marks. For giving the exam, you need to solve at least 6 assignments, then you will be eligible for the theoretical exam.
So, learn everything carefully. When you are eligible for the theoretical exam, you should study at least 5 exam question papers. If you are prepared, we think you might clear your exam.
To pass in the theoretical exam, you have to obtain at least 28 marks out of 70. If you can’t you will fail and your practical marks will not be counted in total if you don’t get above 28 marks in the theoretical exam. There is no negative marking. There will be a 35-question paper, and every question will carry 2 marks.

Coutions while doing RSCIT
Actually, there are many centers taking admissions that are not registered. They take money from students but do not fill their admission forms. So, whenever you go to any RKCL center, always ask for their RKCL Center Code. Eighter they provides Center code if not try to avoid to take admission.
If someone claims they have filled your admission form, demand the learner code and paid slip. You can use the learner code to check your details on the VMOU website.
When you take admission, always provide your own email address and phone number—don’t let the center use theirs. This way, you’ll receive all official notifications from RKCL directly.
Also, always ask, “How many of my assignments are solved?” To appear in the exam, you must solve at least 6 assignments. Some centers misguide students by saying, “We have filled your form but the government is not conducting the exam.” The truth is they didn’t inform you about completing your assignments.
It’s highly recommended to solve all 15 assignments so that you can earn the full 30 practical marks. I hope you understand the entire process as a student. No one usually talks about this. I am a teacher, and I have personally seen all these problems. RKCL is trying to resolve them, but you need to stay aware.
